About ARC Vets
Established in 2016, ARC Vets is an independent NZ family-owned referral practice with two state-of-the-art small animal hospitals in Auckland, ARC Central Ltd in Freemans Bay, and ARC North Ltd in Albany. We’re a 24/7 operation with an incredible team of specialists in surgery, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, oncology, dermatology, and critical care. ARC North also offers hydrotherapy services.
We have all the equipment you would expect in a modern referral veterinary hospital including full in-house laboratory suite with Radiometer, multiparameter patient monitors, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, underwater treadmill, mechanical ventilation, on-site CT and MRI, along with dedicated cat and dog receptions, consulting rooms and wards.

What is the role?
We are looking for thorough and responsible part time cleaner(s) for our Freemans Bay veterinary clinic.
The hours available are Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm. We may consider job share for the right people.
Duties include:
- Clean and maintain equipment promptly and efficiently according to practice protocols.
- General cleaning of designated areas including scrubbing surfaces, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning toilets, refilling consumables, laundry, etc.
- Attend to soiling and spills (blood, urine, faeces) in a timely manner in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Maintain strict hygiene controls in accordance with practice policies.
- Complete daily and monthly cleaning checklists

- Starting hourly rate is $24 to $26 per hour
